Invoxy Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 August 2026
App: Invoxy (Android package com.dltoolshed.invoxy)
Developer: DL Toolshed
This Privacy Policy explains how Invoxy (“the App”) handles information when you use the Android app and, if you use it, the companion desktop app on the same local network.
1. Summary
-
Invoxy is designed to store your business and invoice data on your devices.
-
We do not operate a cloud account service for Invoxy invoices.
-
We do not sell your personal information.
-
Optional features (contacts import, Wi‑Fi sync, sharing PDFs) only use data for those features.
2. Information you provide
You may enter or import information such as:
-
Business profile details (name, phone, email, address, registration/VAT details, bank/payment details, logo, invoice settings)
-
Client details (name, contact name, email, phone, billing address, job location, notes)
-
Invoice and job details (line items, amounts, dates, status, notes, PDFs you generate)
This information is stored in a local database and related files on your device (and, if you use desktop sync, on your computer).
3. Information from your device
-
Contacts (optional): If you choose to import clients from Contacts and grant permission, Invoxy may read contact name, phone, email, and address fields you select or import. Contacts are not uploaded to our servers.
-
Files you create: Logos and invoice PDFs may be saved in app storage and shared by you through the Android share sheet or print flows.
-
Network/Wi‑Fi (optional sync): To discover and sync with Invoxy on a PC on the same Wi‑Fi, the App may use local network access and nearby Wi‑Fi device permission (not for advertising location). Sync traffic is sent between your own devices on the local network.
4. How we use information
Information in the App is used only to provide Invoxy features, including:
-
Creating, editing, searching, and tracking invoices
-
Managing clients and business profiles
-
Generating and sharing PDF invoices
-
Optional local Wi‑Fi sync between phone and desktop
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Data may leave the App only when:
-
You share or print a PDF or other content using another app you choose
-
You enable Wi‑Fi sync, which exchanges data with your own desktop Invoxy instance on the local network
-
Required by law or to protect rights and safety
Android system backup (if enabled on your device) may include app data according to your device settings.
6. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Invoxy does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers for selling ads. We do not use your invoice or contact data for advertising.
7. Data retention and deletion
Data remains on your devices until you delete it in the App, clear app storage, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes local app data on that device (unless restored from a backup).
8. Children’s privacy
Invoxy is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
9. International users
Because data is stored on your devices (and optionally synced on your local network), processing generally occurs where you use the App.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are posted.
